Signs You Are Healing Without Noticing

Healing is not always about feeling really sad one day and really happy the next day. Healing is a beautiful journey, and it is not about switching into a completely different person. Healing is about finding the real human inside us who lost himself or herself on the tough paths of life.

When a person starts humming songs, smiling at themselves in the mirror, grooming themselves better, initiating conversations with others, and laughing aloud at a joke—it matters. These tiny changes mark the beginning of a healing journey. Healing starts with loving oneself and being able to love those who truly care.

Healing makes you more beautiful, pleasant, and calm. You begin to feel peace with your body. You begin to feel peace with your thoughts. You find yourself comfortable in social situations, and you start realizing your uniqueness. It is learning to befriend yourself, despite all the sufferings that led to detachment from oneself. Through healing, one learns to love oneself and starts taking care of the inner child who lives within.

Healing may not take away all the problems in your life, but unknowingly, it makes you capable of dealing with them. It gives you insight into why life happens the way it does and why it is important to understand that it is not your fault. Healing fills your life with love, and you begin to love yourself and others without fear.

You gain the courage to let go of situations and people. In the end, healing is about not taking on another person’s thought process and giving yourself the freedom to think for yourself. It is about learning to prioritize yourself over others and saying goodbye to anything that drains your unique energy.
